Overview:
American Airlines is a commercial airline providing passenger and cargo transportation throughout North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Responsibilities:
- Implement technical requirements and solutions
- Perform configuration and maintenance of applications and servers
- Maintain system documentation
- Support enterprise application performance management, monitoring and logging solutions
- Troubleshoot and support systems and applications across on-premise and environments
Qualifications:
Candidate Profile:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0-2 years experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Available to work full-time

- Fascination with big airplanes and travel
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Able to analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and determine root cause with minimal assistance
- Able to create solutions and implement them with minimal assistance
- Able to lift 50 pounds

- Windows 10 O/S
- Desired Skills (familiar):
- MySQL
- Apache
- PuTTY SSH and Telnet Client
- Ubuntu 18
- Windows Server 2019
- Powershell, BASH, or similar
- Storage technologies (SAN and NAS)
- TC/IP Networking
- Network technologies (firewall, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS)
- System monitoring tools (Dynatrace or others)
- Server virtualization technologies (VMware ESX Server, Citrix XenApp Server, Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Application and Web servers
- SSL technologies (https, sftp, SSH, TLS, etc.)

- 3 days onsite/2 days WFH
- Should be available for additional work onsite when needed
- Travel up to 25%
Salary:
- $35.00/Hour (Plus Benefits)
