Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a very well-known Consumer Products Retail & Wholesaler. This is excellent opportunity for for any entry-level accounting candidates who are looking for a contract-to-hire role to grow in their career.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be trained and then responsible for a variety of tasks including accounts receivable, processing payments, and managing customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable tasks and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
- Manage the processing of payments and adjustments to customer accounts.
- Conduct regular credit checks and process credit memos as required.
- Carry out collection emails and calls for outstanding balances.
- Use Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for various tasks and to maintain accurate records.
- Perform B2B collections and deductions as necessary.
- Engage in account reconciliation activities to ensure all financial data is accurate.
- Handle cash applications and other related tasks.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
- Proficient in Account Reconciliation
- Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Knowledge of Cash Applications
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Familiarity with NetSuite software
- Ability to handle Credit Memo
- Experience in B2B collections
- Proficient in managing Deductions
