Cook II
Overview:
Meadows of Napa Valley, Napa’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking an experienced Cook with 2-4 years line cook experience (breakfast and lunch) to join our team of culinary professionals to create awesome food for our fine-dining restaurant, upscale casual Bistro, catering services, and/or all other areas of our culinary program.You will produce breakfast, lunch and/or dinner menu items, including items pertaining to therapeutic diets, room service delivery, catering needs, and staff meals. You will work in a team environment - the ideal candidate will be proficient in the English lanugage (oral and written).
This is a batch kitchen that services our Care Center, Assisted living and Memory care residents. Some ala carte items are also available. We need to have the same meal cooked 2 different times in a meal period. It is important that our residents receive the best and freshest food possible.Organization and attention to detail is a must for this position.
The successful candidate will find great satisfaction in making people happy through food—rock stars do it with guitars and drums; we do it with knives, the best ingredients we can find, and awesome skills. Additionally, we provide regular and consistent working hours and no more 11 pm or 2 am closing shifts!
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 / hr DOE

A valid Food Handlers card is required and a ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus.
