Robert Half Marketing & Creative is working with a busy Oregon municipal client that is looking for an experienced Technical Writer.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Project Lead to document and update operational procedures and work instructions for various department program teams
• Facilitate meetings both in-person and remotely to gather and document information from subject matter experts
• Review current procedural documentation with program teams to identify gaps and revisions
• Produce new procedures and work instructions as necessary, incorporating regular input from subject matter experts
• Manage documents through various drafts and versions
• Maintain open and clear communication with program team managers and subject matter experts
• Collaborate with the division coordinator
• Create and maintain an electronic library for all division procedures and work instructions, ensuring the most recent versions are linked to the division's SharePoint
• May involve in-person job shadowing
• Use scheduling software like Outlook for meeting coordination

This role is 40% onsite, 60% remote, 40 hours per week (10 hours/day M-TH), for at least 9 months.
