We are seeking a highly qualified Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney with 5-8 years of robust litigation experience. Deep experience with complex commercial lawsuits is a must, preferably someone with experience from big law. As part of our team, you will represent and advocate for our clients from the inception of a case to the close, independently manage cases, and regularly interact with clients and opposing counsel.

You must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Independently manage a caseload involving complex commercial litigation.
  2. Regularly appear before the court for appearances, hearings, and trials.
  3. Conduct rigorous legal research, analysis, and writing in and out of court.
  4. Conduct and supervise depositions.
  5. Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress, legal costs, and to confirm strategies.
  6. Perform high-caliber legal drafting.
  7. Develop case strategies based on the evidence, the laws, and the legal precedents to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
  8. Engage in negotiation and mediation to resolve cases efficiently.
  9. Uphold the ethics and standards of the legal profession and the firm’s principles at all times.
Qualifications:
  1. J.D. from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law.
  2. Minimum of 5-8 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably from a Big Law firm.
  3. Proven record of independently managing caseloads effectively.
  4. Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
  5. Outstanding verbal communication and client management skills.
  6. Proficiency in courtroom decorum and procedure.
  7. An ability to strategize, handle and oversee complex lawsuits.
  8. Willingness to maintain and improve legal knowledge through continuing education.
  9. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure.
  10. Excellent negotiation skills.
