Job Title: Project Manager
Location: New York, NY 10041
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex enterprise projects, driving them from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing large-scale projects across multiple specialties, with the ability to oversee project scope, budget, and schedule while collaborating closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large, mission-critical projects within budget and time constraints.
- Define, control, and manage the scope of work to achieve project objectives.
- Develop and apply metrics for evaluating project effectiveness.
- Lead and coordinate projects across various specialty areas using independent judgment and tailored management techniques.
- Oversee cross-functional aspects to ensure timely delivery of project milestones within budget.
- Create and manage essential project documents, including plans for project execution, business requirements, communication, and testing.
- Delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and resolve issues impacting project progress.
- Provide leadership, address conflicts, and clear barriers to team progress.
- Ensure quality and adherence to project lifecycle standards, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
- Assemble and guide project teams, assign responsibilities, and identify resources to maintain timelines.
- Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, including functional managers, executive sponsors, and steering committee members, to provide project updates, address issues, and offer recovery plans for delayed tasks.
- Maintain project control records and logs, conduct lessons learned sessions, and issue closing reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in working collaboratively across teams and departments to build cohesion among diverse employee network groups.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large projects in complex environments.
- Superb writing and editing skills with the flexibility to handle diverse assignments from start to finish under tight deadlines.
- Experience in language services is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
