Acara Solutions currently has an opening for an onsite Staff Accountant at our client's Folsom, California location.
This is a temp to perm position paying $37- 42/hr, DOE.In this position, you will assist the site with general accounting and reporting requirements.Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prepare general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Assist with reporting and interpreting financial and operating data for management.
- Assist in adoption of new accounting standards including but not limited to researching standard, preparing written accounting policy for company.
- Assist with company cash flow analysis including but not limited to tracking cashflow activity, preparing reports, and analyzing information for management.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for management.
- Support policy development and offer advice regarding accounting and internal control issues, reporting needs, and policy review and changes.
- Assist with reporting and variance analysis regarding departmental operating budget versus actual expenses.
- Assist with annual external audits.
