The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
SPA has an immediate need for a Program Analyst in our Surety Programs Group (SPG). SPG supports government and private sector organizations ensuring the security, safety, and reliability of high consequence operations. SPG’s philosophy is to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains.
Responsibilities:
The Program Analyst will support the development and execution of various efforts within Strategic Systems Programs' Nuclear Weapons Surety Directorate. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting program analysis and strategic planning for various topics and programs with a focus on program protection planning for current and future systems.The Analyst will gather and disseminate information, facilitate client engagements, develop and maintain planning tools, prepare reports and presentations, and present results to stakeholders throughout the client organization. The Analyst will participate in regular on-site client engagements at the Washington Navy Yard.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- U.S. Citizen with current SECRET DoD Clearance
- DoD program or project management experience or 3+ years of experience with any of the following: DoD Program Protection Planning or major acquisition programs
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute workload to meet requirements and deadlines across multiple projects
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Submarines and/or the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons System
- Experience with the defense acquisition system, budget and financial management, technical program planning, and strategic planning
- Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance
