Responsibilities:
- Performs work associated with the installation, calibration, and operation of different kinds of production machines, depending on company specialization or materials used.
- Tests and inspects machines to determine safe and efficient operation, performs routine maintenance, and fixes standard malfunctions.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
- Checks that items produced pass quality control test.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Qualifications:
- Requires HS and 0-2 years.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
