Histotechnology Specialist – Research & Diagnostics

Qualifications:

  • NYS License/registration or limited permit to practice as a Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
  • Two years of histology experience in a clinical or research setting.
  • Ability to distinguish colors for accurate staining analysis.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

  • Prepare and analyze histological specimens using advanced staining methods.
  • Conduct immunostaining, special stains, and enzyme histochemistry.
  • Handle and process complex specimens, including neuropathology and eye pathology.
  • Maintain accurate patient data and research specimen records.
  • Follow laboratory safety protocols and ensure quality control compliance.

Pay: $3,800 - $4,800 per week
