Position:

Title: Sales Executive, Hunter - New Logos Save

Location: Office/Hybrid SoCal ( Redwood City Area)

Riverbed is looking for enterprise sales hunters to drive sales and expand our customer base, by targeting and acquiring new enterprise named accounts.

Pay Transparency:

This position is based in the Company's Redwood City, CA office and the Company is solely considering applicants who reside within commuting distance of the foregoing office location.

This position is compensated with a base salary plus commissions. The total potential On Target Earning ("OTE") compensation range (i.e., base salary plus commissions at 100% attainment of quota achievement) for this position is $225,000 to $250,000.

An individual's particular OTE compensation will be determined by the Company, in its sole discretion, in light of the individual's geographical location, education, training, and/or experience.

What you will do:

  • Drive new account acquisition, building long-term relationships and positioning oneself as a trusted advisor. Understand the structures and hierarchies of prospective customers, while identifying the priorities, objectives, and motivations of key decision makers.
  • Close new enterprise-level sales opportunities.
  • Lead a complex sales cycle’ orchestrating and leveraging cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, Sales & Executive Leadership) ensuring alignment throughout the sales journey, while delivering business value and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Successfully manage a multi-month sales process, consisting of multiple stages, evaluations, and approvals. Breaking a long sales cycle down into smaller milestones and continuously tracking your progress.
  • Communicate and demonstrate the value of the Riverbed Platform, highlighting the ROI, and building a business case that helps decision-makers understand the long-term benefit of the platform.
  • Implement and execute an effective sales plan. Researching and understanding each targeted account’s unique challenges, then tailoring a solution that aligns to their needs and goals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, document activities in Salesforce, and prioritize other high-value activities that drive sales.

What makes you an ideal candidate:

  • Multiple years’ experience in large enterprise sales, closing new enterprise-level logos. Selling to C-Suite, along with key stakeholders involved in the purchasing decision.
  • Track record of success selling high-end enterprise software in a SaaS subscription model. Consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience leading the sales cycle from initial contact to closure. Successfully navigating complex buying processes involving multiple decision makers.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing sales strategies that drive new account acquisition.
