Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRNPay: $29-$31.50 per hour plus shift differentials for full-time, part-time and PRN.

Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Up to date first aid and CPR certification.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with FL state license.
- Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.
- Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
- Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Provide personal care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents daily and as needed.
- Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
- Assist with resident comfort.
- Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
- Collect samples and monitor catheters.
- Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed.
- Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
