Staff Accountant - Robert Half

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct regular audits of financial data and records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and reports.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cost analysis.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or fabric-related environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
