Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:

• Unload Rail Cars: Efficiently and safely unload plastic material from rail cars to ensure timely delivery to production areas.
• Weigh and Document Materials: Accurately weigh plastic materials in bags, ensuring precise measurements and proper documentation for inventory and processing records.
• Material Handling: Manually lift bags of plastic material (50+ lbs) onto pallets, preparing them for further processing and storage.
• Forklift Operation: Use a sit-down forklift to safely transport materials to various areas within the facility, ensuring smooth flow between unloading, processing, and storage.
• Box Construction: Build cardboard boxes from scratch daily to package materials and finished products for shipment.
• Physical Labor: Perform a mix of manual labor and forklift operation, with 50% of tasks requiring physical lifting, moving, and stacking, and the other 50% requiring sit-down forklift operation.
