Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will coordinate and oversee immigration legal services within the scope of the agency’s practice. Act as a consultant to DOJ accredited representatives. Complete applications for naturalization, adjustment of status, asylum, humanitarian parole and family reunification.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Act as the single point of contact for all referrals and intakes into the SASIC program, complete initial intakes and assessments as needed, and refer to appropriate SASIC services. Individually interview program participants to assess for appropriate services, as needed Track referrals to all SASIC services and ensure completion and engagement.
Document completion and engagement in the program’s database. Convene monthly meetings of the SASIC multi-disciplinary team to ensure participants’ success, gather feedback and measurement tools, resolve obstacles and problems, and plan for program modifications as needed.
Track all participants throughout participation and to the attainment of the desired goals. Prepare reports to the funding source according to the required schedule. Ensure reporting and evaluation data are reported in program’s database. Monitor compliance with the program budget.
Monitor compliance with the program timeline. Provide data to the project evaluator as requested, as well as to the funding source for national evaluation efforts. Develop, organize and schedule community trainings on the needs of Afghans impacted by combat.
Network within Catholic Charities and with outside service providers to make appropriate referrals to service the needs of program participants. Ensure confidentiality of reports and client files by storing them in locking file cabinets and/or a locked office, and using protected electronic storage.

Complete all applications on a CCOC device and save only to network drives. Work as a team member with other agency staff. Attend agency staff meetings.

This Position if Full Time at 35 Hours a Week and Pay is $56,000 Per Year

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry:

  • Bachelor's degree, possibly an advanced degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have experience working with New Americans.
  • Experience with Afghans is desirable but not required.

Licenses/Certificate/Clearances:

  • Criminal background check
  • State Central Register Clearance.

Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client’s homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with clients in a challenging and active environment.
