Position Title: Full-time Accountant
Annual Salary: A$ 73,150 + Superannuation
Introduction:

Moran Accountants has the expertise and experience to offer a full range of accounting, auditing and business advisory services. We are looking for an experienced & forward-thinking full-time Accountant for an immediate start.

Duties:

Preparation of annual financial reports including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
Responsible for financial reporting and analysis on portfolios forecast and actual financial performance.
Prepare and lodge BAS and payments as well as reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.
Monitor bookkeeping, assets management and budget project costing.
Prepare month end report, manage accounts receivable/ payable.
Review the financial statements.
Develop, implement, and keep updated all financial policies and procedures including internal control procedures.
Project costing and capital asset evaluation.
Formulate organisational budgetary and accounting policies.
Ensure the statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
Analyse and report on company income and expenditure.

Providing assurance about the accuracy of the information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.

Skills and Experience: Minimum bachelors degree in accounting or finance.

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
In depth experience in MYOB, XERO and other accounting software.
Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to details.
Able to perform under pressure.
