Rapid Response Sr. Network Engineer

Overview:

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Rapid Response Sr. Network Engineer to join our team on the upcoming Enterprise DISA JSP ETM Services 2.0 program.

This position is onsite in the Washington, DC area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services.
• Monitoring network performance and resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Use of current and emergent network design principles and protocols.
• Experience with network virtualization technologies.
• Experience with multi-tenant network architectures.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of network routing and switching equipment from multiple vendors.
• Scripting languages and coding for network threshold events.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches
• 3+ years primary role designing, architecting routed and switched networks
• 3+ years DoD environment
• Certifications: At least one nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects tied to the proposed solution’s routers and switches Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M http://iase.disa.mil/iawip/Pages/iabaseline.aspx IAT Level III certification must be obtained within 120 days after start of BPA PoP for the Senior Network Engineer
