Medical Assistant
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant in Trinity, Florida! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or full-time offerSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Pay: $17.60 to $19.60 an hour
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
- Assist providers and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures.
- Maintain established quality control standards.
- Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately.
- Coordinate patient care as directed by providers, company standards, and policies.
- Organize, stock, and clean exam and treatment rooms.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration
- Current CPR and/or BLS certification
- Phlebotomy skills is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology
