Client is a global airline catering vendor - with 6 locations throughout the US. This client is looking for someone to roll up their sleeves and create an impactTHIS ROLE WILL BE 5X a week in Inwood, NY (Near JFK Airport)

Job Description

Develop a centralized procurement function, for food, beverage and packaging categories - annual spend > $500M
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve savings targets
Lead a team of tactical buyers / managers
Partner with and lead internal stakeholders in a Procurement transformation

The Successful Applicant

10 YOE leading Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Negoatiations for Ready to Eat food / beverage categories
Experience working across multiple sites / locations
ERP implementation experience a plus
People management experience is required
