Temporary Receptionist

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to fill up the role of a contract Receptionist for about 4 weeks, potentially longer. As our Receptionist, your main duty will be to act as the first point of contact for all visitors and to represent our company in the most proficient manner.

Job Responsibilities: Welcome and attend to visitors in a gracious and detail oriented manner. This includes guiding and directing them to the appropriate personnel or department. Promptly answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing accurate, relevant information to callers.
Assist in managing and distributing incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail on a daily routine. Assist with various office projects and tasks as assigned by the office manager. Maintain reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Coordinate the daily schedule and appointments, manage conference room bookings, and update company calendars as necessary. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, entering data, and organizing files. Print out and manage the visitor sign-in sheet every morning.

Your shift will begin before the office opens to the public at 8:15 am, and will end after the office closes at 4:30 pm.

Good written and verbal communication skills Organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field preferred. High School diploma; additional certifications in Office Management is a plus.
