What we Offer Drivers:
- Union Job- Teamsters 710
- Must have reliable Transportation to make it to the Romeoville IL Facility
- Hourly pay- Drivers earn $34.95/HR.
- Driver work 4 days on 3 days off, avg 10 - 12-hour shifts
- Mandatory Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) additional $2.00/HR
- 5Th & 6th Day hourly premium, $10.82/HR on top of OT pay.
- Dispatch times range between 10:30am - 5PM
- Must be able to do Local and Lay-over Routes (WI, MO, IN, IA)
- Touch Freight Delivery, Drivers lifting up to 75 pounds, Trucks equipped with two-wheel dollies, hooks (for milk crates)
- Lift gates on trailers – no ramps!
- Weekly pay – paid every Friday.

Driver Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials from QCD distribution center to local customer stores
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid Class A CDL
Pay: $34.95 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
