job summary:

A Quality Inspector is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Mount Joy, PA area. The Quality Inspector conducts audits and inspections on production materials, utilizing measurement tools and software, to ensure compliance with engineering standards and communicates results to relevant teams.

salary: $17.25 - 20.78 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

Perform quality audits on products in production for assigned process areas.
Conduct inspections on vendor-supplied materials.
Refer to blueprints to perform audit functions.
Establish daily priorities and determine essential tasks to complete.
Send and receive data instructions via email using the above applications.
Communicate inspection results to Engineering, Inspection, and Management teams.
Use ERP system (e.g., SAP) to accept or reject materials based on inspection results.
Document results of final inspections on required forms.

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of First Article Inspections (FAIs) is preferred.
Familiarity with quality inspection processes and tools.

Experience: Prior inspection experience (2+ years preferred).
