A leading engineering and design firm is looking for a structural engineer to join its team. This is a contract to hire position with an expected conversion around 6 months. You may sit near Atlana, GA, Eugene, OR, or be fully remote.
As structural engineer, you will be in charge of creating and stamping designs for industrial projects and structural steel buildings. You will also do client consulting and field walks including on-site inspections of the project. Typical projects involve wood/pulp/paper and designing equipment supports and foundations, in addition to steel buildings.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and be an EIT or have a PE license along with 5+ years experience doing industrial design (oil/gas, structural steel, chemical plants, wood/paper, etc). Qualified candidates may be eligible for per diem during the contract period prior to conversion.
