Overview:
Position Description Summary
The Contract Administrator reports to the Project Controls Manager. The successful candidate will have proven contract administration experience with complex, multi-phase, multi-million-dollar construction and/or renovation projects. Performs a broad range of contract administrative duties, including procurements, billings, insurance, badging, and compliance.
This is a Hybrid role, in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties- Collaborate with the Project Manager regarding disposition of contractual issues.
- Preparing Contractual Correspondence.
- Assembling Task Orders and Change Orders.
- Monitoring insurance compliance.
- Ensure proficiency and timeliness of contract administration for change documentation.
- Prepares required reports and correspondence.
- Review Concurrence Letters for conformance with contractual requirements1
- Attend various meetings, including pre-bid proposal and post-bid proposal debriefings.
- Assist in the contract standardization process.
- Monitor all aspects of contract compliance.
- Assist in resolving problems and disagreements between contractors and Owner.
- Review contractor invoices for contractual compliance.
- Conduct closeout actions upon contract completion such as final audit, payment, etc. under the direction of personnel.
- Contribute to the advancement of TDG’s goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field, as well as training in procurement, contract, construction, and commercial law.
- 3 or more years of experience in the administration of commercial/government contracts is required.
- Experience in alternative project delivery methods including Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design Build preferred.
- Comfortable operating in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
- Produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer service attitude.Experience in a construction office is necessary.
- Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance reviews, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous positions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software, Adobe Acrobat Professional and large-scale construction management type software such as Primavera, Prolog, etc.

Wage Data Per State Requirements:
Pay range for this position is $38.60/hr - $47.20/hr. The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
