Responsibilities:

Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, self-directed individual to fill the role of the Senior Director, Growth & Program Strategy, DAF Enterprise IT Modernization. The Senior Director will be the primary Program Manager for the DAF BIM Program and Point of Contact for interaction with the DAF BIM PMO and DAF Leadership.
They will identify and collaborate with the Department of the Air Force on near-term and longer-term IT Infrastructure and Cyber IT Operations opportunities, with a focus on the DAF BIM Program, GSA Vehicles, NASA SEWP and other Contract Vehicles utilized by the DAF.

The successful candidate will use his/her extensive relationships within the DAF and Systems Integrator Community to secure business through a robust, achievable pipeline of primarily, Technica Prime Bid opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Senior Director will be the Program Manager for the DAF BIM Program responsible for all program management activities to include interface with DAF BIM PMO and related program activities, all program reporting to include all contractual reporting and deliverables.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of the DAF and government contracting and acquisition practices to lead business development, capture and proposal activities.
  • Develop and execute customer penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, and partnering strategies to achieve aggressive near and mid-term business growth.
  • Gather actionable market intelligence through researching prospective accounts in target markets, to identify and qualify opportunities, and build and execute strategic plans to grow Technica’s business.
  • Capture complex services contracts meeting or exceeding financial targets.
  • Develop value propositions through program strategies, supporting business cases and project plans.
  • Develop win strategies and evolve the strategy throughout the capture lifecycle.
  • Strengthen key vendor, supplier and partner alliances and bring new products/solutions capability into the company’s portfolio.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with key Systems Integrator and DAF BIM Partners and OEM manufacturers to ensure successful program and task order execution.
  • Drive all DAF IT Modernization Task Order Proposal activities to include Proposal Management, collaboration with internal Engineering and Delivery organizations and Corporate Resources to ensure successful winning programs and contract awards.
  • Generate and maintain extensive knowledge of current developments in the DAF Community on Enterprise IT Modernization, DoD Cyber and DevSecOps missions.
  • This position will require travel of 20-30%

The position will be located in Dulles, VA or may consider remote locations in Texas, Colorado, Florida or other states with key Air Force bases.

The annual base salary range for this position is $169,000 - $225,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent education and experience
  • 16 years of overall experience in related fields with 8+ years of capture, business development, and/or customer relations experience
  • Proven track record of contract wins that met and/or exceeded revenue targets
  • Prior program management and capture experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Government Enterprise IT Modernization, Cyber and/or DevSecOps programs
  • Knowledge and experience with Federal Government procurement and contracting processes
  • Proven ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with Federal clients
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously
  • Proven ability to utilize critical thinking skills required to identify/shape opportunities and develop value propositions
  • Experience working the entire capture process - to include team building, developing win themes, procurement influence, and strategic positioning
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)

Desired:

  • Active Secret Security clearance: ability to be cleared at Top Secret level
  • Retired U.S Air Force, U.S. Space Force Senior Leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel internally and with clients – executive management, management, technical and administrative
  • Experience working in a Shipley-based or other structured capture environment
  • Experience with engineering services level of effort determination, competitive analysis, and project pricing-to-win
  • New business wins in excess of $25M+ Total Contract Value
  • Multiple OTA and non-RFP contract wins
