We are providing a short term contract employment opportunity for a HR Recruiter in New York. This role is within the insurance industry and requires a candidate who can effectively manage administrative tasks, understand the fundamentals of recruiting, and effectively source potential candidates across various markets.
Responsibilities:
- Source potential candidates across 17 different markets using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Efficiently build and manage lists throughout these various markets
- Handle administrative tasks associated with the recruitment process
- Utilize Applicant Track System and other relevant software for data entry tasks
- Communicate effectively with potential candidates and team members
- Understand and apply basic recruiting principles and procedures
- Recruit individuals with an active property casualty insurance license in their state
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment sourcing tools effectively
- Maintain an organized system for tracking candidate information and progress in the recruitment process
- Resolve inquiries from potential candidates in a timely and professional manner. • Possession of a minimum of 1 year of experience in HR Recruiting.
- Proficiency in using Careerbuilder software for recruitment purposes.
- Familiarity with Applicant Track Systems and their applications in the recruitment process.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with job applicants and internal teams.
- Experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing potential job candidates.
- Demonstrable skills in recruitment sourcing, with a focus on identifying and attracting top talent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative in improving recruitment processes.
- Willingness to stay updated on current recruitment trends and best practices.
- A team player attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and managers.
