Senior Event Producer

The Senior Event Producer is a team leader and execution driver for live in-person and virtual event programs. This person is responsible for collaborating with clients and internal teams to define event goals and objectives, and ensuring our project plans align with those objectives, while delivering work on-time, within budget and creating an outstanding client experience.This role is designed for an individual who can cultivate strong relationships internally and externally, and be a trusted partner and leader within the organization that clients and team members depend on to solve complex problems with ease.
Strong people management and interpersonal skills are essential. As an externally facing team member, we look for professional, accountable, driven people who put client service and quality first. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and prior event production experience from an agency or other production environment is required.
This role requires 3 days/week in our office in Norwood, MA.
Travel for this position is required (Approximately 25-30%)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all elements of event production, in partnership with our Account Management, Creative and Technical teams.
- Manages multiple clients and projects at a time, strong multi-tasking skills required
- Creates and monitors timelines ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded
- Runs client meetings, manages status reports and records notes
- Maintains exceptional working relationships with clients and acts professionally in all interactions
- Leads a project team of production resources including freelance staff and vendors
- Manages talent & entertainment
- Creates onsite production schedules in line with client schedules and production timelines
- Ensures the prompt and accurate reconciliation following completion of a job with oversight from the assigned account team
- 5-7 years’ professional experience required
- Previous live event experience
- Strong financial management and budget creation experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; flexible
- SharePoint and Office 365 knowledge preferred
- Experience with executive presentation management, event technology, familiarity with video formats, and expertise in video and print production management are all considered valuable pluses
