We are currently seeking a Prep Cook to join our dynamic team. Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Prep Cook will assist in preparing ingredients and dishes to support our clients' custom event menus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including cutting, chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
• Follow Chef instructions and kitchen standards to prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, and more.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and adhere to recipe guidelines.
• Keep workstations clean and sanitized, ensuring all kitchen areas meet health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient food service.
• Display professionalism, a passion for cooking, and a desire to improve your craft.
• Demonstrate the ability to take feedback constructively and provide support where needed.

Qualifications:

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Previous experience in a kitchen role.
• A team-oriented attitude: perseverance, reliability, respect, resourcefulness, and calmness under pressure.

Location & Compensation:

• Work location: Vienna, VA.
• Hourly rate: $18-$22 per hour, based on experience.
