We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, the Office Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining and improving office operations.

This includes tasks such as managing office supplies, scheduling appointments and meetings, and onboarding new team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and scheduling appointments and meetings to ensure smooth office operations
  • Overseeing the ordering and maintaining of office supplies to ensure the team has the resources they need
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new team members to ensure a smooth transition into the team
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage and organize information and communications
  • Conducting an annual inventory to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records
  • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
  • Ensuring a well-organized and efficient office environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience in managing office supplies, including ordering and inventory
  • Ability to handle scheduling and calendar management tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and procedures
  • Proven experience in annual inventory management
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Prior experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role would be advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
