System Administrator / Asset Manager

Overview:
Akima Data Management is looking for a System Administrator / Asset Manager who can join our superior team.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements equipment asset management policies and procedures, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of all equipment assets
- Manages equipment inventory and ensures that all equipment assets are properly tracked and accounted
- Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program to ensure that equipment assets are properly maintained and repaired
- Develops and manages a system for tracking equipment maintenance and repair histories
- Ensures that equipment assets are disposed of in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Develops and maintains a budget for equipment asset management activities
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure that equipment assets are properly secured and accounted
- Develops and maintains monthly asset status
- Assists with Information Assurances responsibilities by ensuring classified network assess requests are accurate, complete, and properly prepared for approval and processing after a new user has completed the necessary training
- Manages user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory
- Receives, proofreads, and processes “TELEGRAMS” for both the Classified and Unclassified networks utilizing the Secure Messaging and Retrieval Tool (SMART)
- Updates service support utilizing ITSM tool
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment asset management
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Strong knowledge of Windows equipment asset management principles and practices
- Proven experience in developing and implementing equipment asset management policies and procedures
- Good understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Service Now and other relevant software applications
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
Posted Salary Range: $100,000 to $115,000
