Sr Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts. The role involves maintaining and enhancing diverse technology environments and utilizing advanced troubleshooting skills. The successful candidate will be proficient in various cloud ecosystems, including Microsoft 365, EMS, and Azure, amongst others, and will have a firm understanding of AI and CoPilot concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively and efficiently.
• Lead the transition from on-premise to cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of operating systems, connectivity, security, and information management to enhance existing systems.
• Exhibit proficiency in identity services like Active Directory and Okta, and ensure their effective use across the organization.
• Utilize experience with AWS and Google Cloud services to optimize our cloud-based operations.
• Demonstrate in-depth expertise in the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, EMS, Entra ID, Purview, Compliance, device management, Azure IaaS, Azure App Services, and web application firewalls.
• Maintain a solid understanding of AI and CoPilot concepts, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft, and use this expertise to improve system efficiency and user experience.
• Foster client relationships and collaborate effectively with team members, using strong interpersonal skills.
• Possess hands-on experience with networking, firewalls, routing, and switching, and use this experience to enhance system security and connectivity. • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineering role or similar position
• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is essential
• Experience with Active Directory is required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Technologies is a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is necessary
• Experience with Hybrid Cloud environments is desired
• Must demonstrate strong client engagement skills
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Virtualization Technology is crucial
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently as required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
