ServiceNow Business Analyst
This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare IT processes, coupled with expertise in business analysis and ServiceNow platform capabilities. The ServiceNow Business Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of ServiceNow initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for ServiceNow initiatives in the healthcare organization.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to elicit requirements and understand business processes, pain points, and objectives.
Analyze and document current state processes, workflows, and data flows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow solutions.
Work closely with ServiceNow developers, architects, and administrators to design and configure solutions that meet business needs.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business process maps, requirements traceability matrices, and solution designs.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation sessions to ensure that ServiceNow solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.
Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow functionality, processes, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to define and implement ServiceNow governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Assist in the development of ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the impact of ServiceNow initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a business analyst, with a focus on IT projects and healthcare IT systems.Experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and other ServiceNow modules preferred.
Strong understanding of healthcare IT processes, regulations, and industry best practices, including HIPAA compliance requirements.
Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, and facilitating workshops.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, or other advanced ServiceNow modules.Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project management and software development.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
Active participation in professional organizations or forums related to business analysis or healthcare IT.
