Job Description
  1. Design and Development:
  • Conceptualization: Develop and conceptualize mechanical systems, components, or products based on project requirements.
  • Detailed Design: Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure functionality.
  1. Analysis and Problem-Solving:
  • Engineering Analysis: Perform calculations and simulations to analyze mechanical performance, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to mechanical systems, designs, or manufacturing processes.
  1. Testing and Evaluation:
  • Performance Testing: Conduct tests to evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of mechanical systems and products.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations, and implement quality control measures.
  1. Project Management:
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for mechanical engineering projects.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  1. Manufacturing Support:
  • Production Oversight: Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and resolve any production issues.

  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Safety: Implement safety protocols and standards to ensure safe operation and use of mechanical systems.
  1. Innovation and Improvement:
  • Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for enhancement and efficiency gains.
  1. Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience (1+ years) in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools and simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
