Overview:
NASHVILLE, TN (NATIONWIDE CANDIDATES) - Amazing family seeks a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 2-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter. This family is in Nashville proper and is looking for a nanny committed to living in Nashville long-term.The perfect candidate brings positive energy into the home and is proactive, energetic, punctual, flexible, and tidy. Being bilingual is a plus, but not required. The family has a Labordoodle in the home and would need the candidate to be comfortable with dogs.
The hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30am - 10am & 2pm - 7pm with flexibility. For the right candidate, they are also open to flexible scheduling that at minimum covers school drop off/pickup and afternoon activities. The candidate would need to have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be comfortable driving children in the family vehicle.The family is seeking a nanny who is high-energy, and enthusiastic about children and not only sets up activities for the children to play but also engages and plays with them.
Duties include caring for the children, laundry for the children, driving the children to and from after-school activities (ex: gymnastics on Mondays), engaging with the children during play, and swimming with the children. The family has a pool, thus, the nanny needs to be a competent swimmer and willing to swim with the children and understand pool and swim safety.Household duties include running errands, grocery shopping, loading and unloading dishwasher, and keeping the home stocked.
Parents work from home and would require the candidate to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The family employs a weekly housekeeper and has occasional landscaping and pool maintenance services. Candidates should be flexible and available to travel with the family twice a year to Jackson Hole, WY, for approximately two weeks in the winter and seven weeks in the summer.The family is willing to fly the candidate home for breaks during the summer. They also travel internationally and would love for their nanny to join them, so a valid passport is required. Additionally, both parents occasionally travel for work, so the nanny must be comfortable staying overnight with the children when needed.
All vaccinations are required for this position; Tdap, MMR, Flu, and Covid. The family will pay for relocation for the perfect candidate. Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
