Staff Accountant:

Responsibilities:

• Manage the reconciliation of various financial accounts, including bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare and scrutinize financial statements to ensure their accuracy and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform detailed variance analyses to identify discrepancies in financial transactions and propose corrective actions.
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations for internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Comply with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to resolve reconciliation issues and improve overall financial processes.

• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively
• Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger management
• Capable of creating accurate Journal Entries
• Experience in conducting Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in using Yardi software for accounting tasks
• Familiarity with Yardi property management software
