Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer
Salary Range: $90k - $110k Permanent Position with Benefits
Growing A & E Firm seeks an experienced Civil Transportation Engineer to work with their Highway / Bridge Division.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Registered Professional Engineer (P.E. License) in Ohio or an Engineer in Training (EIT) on track to become a Licensed PE and a minimum of (8) years of hands-on experience performing engineering / design of highway roadway and bridge projects.
Preferred Candidate will have direct knowledge of civil engineering design practices and an understanding of the ODOT project development process.Candidate must be capable of performing and checking engineering project calculations.
Proficient utilizing OpenRoads Designer design software.
Experience with AutoCad, AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or InRoads software is a plus.
Candidate should have experience with AASHTO, ODOT design guidance, CAD-standards, roadway, and right-of-way deliverables.
Candidate must be able to act as the Project Manager to facilitate project from inception to completion.
Candidate is expected to oversee roadway design, setting geometric alignments, hydrology & hydraulics for drainage design, 3D roadway modeling, pavement design, erosion control plans, maintenance of traffic, right-of-way, and to prepare detailed project quantity calculations and construction cost estimates as needed.
Candidate must be a good communicator to work with other engineering personnel, construction teams, and clients.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
