Application Engineer
Company is in search of a Application Engineer located within the Northeast. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates to apply their Industrial Engineering background within a sales environment focused on automation. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 2-3 years experience within automation related to the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Candidates must have experience consulting and selling on large projects. This opportunity requires 80% travel visiting clients & exhibitions. responsibilities:
- Identify and meet potential customers and opening of new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate on sales strategies with the Senior Sales Director.
- Participation in exhibits, forums and events.
- Suport Global Managers in visiting key clients and also organizing visits with clients to companies facilities.
- Consult company needs, identify customer requirements, and initial solution recognition.
- Preparation of technical specifications to provide a primary solution to companies engineering team.
- Preparation of commercial proposals and pricing strategies with a commercial support team.
- Present solutions and offers to potential customers and the follow up of the sales opportunities.
- Contract negotiations.
- Handle project sale cycle from start to finish.
- Relay of market developments and future requirements to Global Management.
