Senior Operations Manager

Key Competencies | Relevant Experience | Intangibles:- Operational experience at a larger company is strongly preferred; expertise with documenting and implementing processes across multiple locations is essential with their rapid growth.
- Quoting & Estimation Expertise: Having this experience will be a VERY positive differentiator.
- Experience & high comfort with situations & physical environments that are blue-collar & varying climate conditions in both internal (clients warehouse) and external (customer sites, other client locations, etc) sites.

Primary Focus Areas:
- Operations (20%): Overseeing and/or performing customer & material pick-ups, deliveries, cutting wood, constructing crates, purchasing raw materials, and providing other necessary hands-on effort to ensure success for their clients.
- Customer Support (20%): Supporting existing customers through project coordination, shipping updates, and quoting new opportunities.
- Business Development/Sales (15%): Pursue sales opportunities with prospective customers and projects that align with their capabilities and resources. (This duty may change in the future).
- Estimating/Quoting (25%): Learning their internal estimation processes and being able to provide pricing to existing and prospective customers. You must be able to obtain the necessary data through phone calls, emails, and/or on-site measurements.
- Project Management (20%): They solve complex logistical problems; They need someone who can plan the work and work the plan (PTW -> WTP).
Prospective candidates should have some (or all) of the following skills/experience (in priority order):
Motivated, coachable, growth-oriented, dependable, disciplined, trustworthy, and humble!
Excellent attention to detail and takes great pride in work
Above-average math skills and ability to calculate fractions, percentages, and margin
Construction (framing or carpentry) experience
Can lift at least 50 pounds and in great physical shape for hard but rewarding work
Can read and understand detailed written instructions, including a tape measure
Preferred Professional Expertise and Life Skills/Qualifications:
Military Veterans with a valid DD-214
Previous experience with a miter saw, panel saw, and/or nail guns
Experience reading CAD drawings
Experience with 3D and 4D CNC Routers
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) | intermediate+ level

Compensation: $100K-120K base salary + performance-based bonus (up to 15% on an annual basis | company financial performance and individual results are the main criteria to determine the final %).
