An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Divisional Financial Controller to join a leading organisation servicing a broad range of industries across Australia. This role is a key member of the Victorian/Tasmanian Management team, providing commercial and financial support to operations while working closely with senior leadership.

Job Description

• Management reporting and analysis, including preparation of monthly P&L statements, variance commentary, and management review packs.
• Leading the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Attending and presenting at business reviews and budget presentations.
• Conducting financial analysis to identify key business performance drivers, including client profitability reviews.
• Driving profitability improvements through state-based profit improvement plans.
• Reviewing and preparing costings and pricing for tenders.
• Managing the price increase process, including supporting documentation for client discussions.
• Responding to ad-hoc financial information and analysis requests.
• Directly managing a team of five across the states.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

• CA/CPA qualification and relevant finance degree.
• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role with a strong background in providing commercial and financial business support.
• Demonstrated ability to drive profitability initiatives.
• Logical problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Comprehensive experience in both financial and commercial management.
