Service Shop Admin Assistant - Mi Gente Auto Finance

MEI Group is looking for Service Shop Administrative Assistant for one of our dealerships located in Arlington, TX. We searching for Positive, team-oriented individual who is disciplined, dependable, determined, focused, and is open to personal and professional training and development.

The position is under general supervision, deliver exceptional customer service by supporting the Fixed Operations Department by assisting with the RO management, data entry, inventory reconciliation, inventory control, customer service and vendor management before, during and after service/repair processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Audits daily records, production performance and close repair orders through production tool
  • Works efficiently and effectively with all workflow systems to ensure all production performance data is accurate.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are required.
  • The ability to prioritize and meet goals and deadlines
  • Auto or truck parts experience and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations OSHA compliance, and company regulations are preferred.
  • Audit all sublet invoices, parts invoices, and credit card statements to ensure they are accurate and resolved per meiGroup Guidelines.
  • Ensure dealer tags are always in compliance with company audit requirements.
  • Manages inventory movement with 3rd party vendors, completes warranty recovery and repair order processing utilizing the production software, "Repair360."
  • Maintains an organized workspace and manages current and accurate records per company policy and the government agencies.
  • Maintains GPS production logs for inventory control of GPS devices for ordering and allocation per company process.
  • Ensure the daily process of part cores and part return to vendors are being completed on a regular schedule with assistance of parts leadership and Credits are received.
  • Performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.
  • Maintain accounting schedules and posting journal adjustments as approved by the Service & Parts Managers
  • Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, process, and services.
  • Interacts daily with key departments within the organization to ensure location compliance with company expectations.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Service Department activities, methods, policies, and procedures
  • Data entry skills
  • Basic knowledge of IDMS, Alldata, Microsoft products preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
  • Auto or truck parts experience and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations OSHA compliance, and company regulations are preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
  • The ability to lift and carry parts in excess of 60 pounds and be legally eligible to work in the US.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to type with minimum errors

Job Type:

  • Full-time
  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 hourly (Depending on Experience)
