Home Health Care Biller

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Home Health Care Biller to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with handling and organizing various home health care billing tasks. The role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to high-level service for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process home health and hospice medical claims
• Follow up on home health and hospice claims diligently
• Utilize Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and Microsoft Excel for claims processing and data management
• Handle appeals and manage benefit and billing functions effectively
• Administer claim administration and collection processes efficiently
• Maintain a fast-paced work environment while handling multiple tasks
• Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain strong formatting capabilities in Excel for data organization and presentation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in home health care billing
• Proficiency in handling appeals and claim administration
• Demonstrated understanding of billing functions and benefit functions
• Experience in managing collection processes
• Proficiency in using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• in particular, with formatting spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Knowledge of relevant health care regulations and standards
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
