Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

In addition to equipment maintenance, the role includes some facility maintenance (approximately 10-15% of responsibilities).

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, including conveyor belts, motors, pumps, and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and components.
• Maintain and repair roller conveyor belts and other material handling equipment.
• Support operations by quickly responding to and resolving equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct facility maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, HVAC, and lighting repairs as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize equipment performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably (though not required) in corrugated packaging.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing conveyor systems, with a preference for experience with roller conveyors.
• strong knowledge of 480V electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair them.
• Skilled in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
• Experience with facility maintenance tasks is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays.

Job Specifics:

• Competitive pay range of $28-$34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Shift: M-F, 6am-3:45pm (occasional Saturday OT).
