Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midlevel Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team located in Herndon, VA to serve our federal customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud technologies, with a focus on EKS, Terraform, Morpheus, and Identity Access Management (IAM).
The candidate should also possess expertise in installing and configuring Python, R software on AWS, and have a solid understanding of AWS storage solutions such as S3, Redshift, and PostgreSQL. Additionally, proficiency in AWS CLI, Lambda, and Glue is essential for this role.
Responsibilities: Work with the Cloud Services and Virtualization Department (CSVD) to deploy and manage EC2 instances in the AWS cloud. Install and configure application software required for web scraping environments. Utilize AWS EKS for container orchestration, demonstrating 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience.
Leverage Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployment and management processes. Utilize Morpheus for efficient cloud management and optimization. Manage Identity Access Management (IAM) for secure and compliant access to AWS resources.
