Administrative Assistant I
Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Fully Onsite Duration: 6 Months Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a 6-month temporary position. This role requires extensive phone management experience and involves making daily phone calls to external facilities to request patient pathology materials.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-3 years of business experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current knowledge of third-party/government program billing requirements and patient billing procedures.
- Good understanding of insurance benefits and government program authorization/documentation processes.
- Experience managing phone lines and handling high call volumes.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Position Overview/Project Details:Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Duties may include fielding phone calls, receiving and directing visitors, typing, filing, and faxing. Skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required.
Internet research abilities are also important. Staff in this category may also have the title of dept. asst, coordinator or associate. Previous experience within HR department is helpful but not required. Past experience scheduling meetings/interviews/attention to detail is critical.
Must have exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) as well as excellent organization skills.
