Personal Lines Account Manager

A Personal Lines Account Manager manages client accounts for personal insurance policies, such as auto and home, providing customer service, processing policy changes, and ensuring clients have the appropriate coverage for their needs. They serve as the main point of contact, assisting with renewals, claims, and policy updates.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing assistance with their insurance needs.
- Review clients' existing policies and recommend tailored coverage options to meet their individual requirements.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products to enhance client coverage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies to offer informed guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to overall agency success.
- Actively participate in new business sales efforts, acquiring new personal lines insurance policies and driving agency growth, with commission-based earnings.
This is a full-time, in-office position with office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Friday. The role offers a salary plus commission structure.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of personal lines experience at a brokerage required
- Property & Casualty license preferred or willing to get in the first 90 days
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
