What You'll Do:

• Use your training and experience to work on manufacturing equipment in a manufacturing / industrial environment. (This is not a facilities maintenance role.)
• Overall 8 or more years of relevant experience is required. A journeyman's card is desirable but not required if you have the experience.
• Experience with high, medium, and low voltage (480-, 277-, 120-, down to 24-volt circuitry).
• Work with Allen Bradley (preferred) or similar PLC systems and troubleshoot / program Variable Frequency Drives.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems such as proximity switches, safety circuits, motors, drives, relays, light screens, etc.
• Experience with CNC Machining is highly desirable - Fanuc and Siemens controller expertise is a plus.
• Union environment with competetive pay, shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Shifts: Most new employees start on 2nd or 3rd shift. (2nd shift: 2PM - 10PM; 3rd shift: 10PM - 6AM)
• Overtime: Expect overtime opportunities on 2 to 3 weekends a month (rotating schedule). with pay rates of 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays and holidays.
