Summary:

This position is responsible for providing compliance monitoring services to certain Studio Enterprise clients within the education sector. The job will require monitoring of communications between client staff and 3rd party marketing vendors on one hand and current and prospective students on the other hand.

Employee must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment using several different software applications. Employee must possess extremely strong writing and organizational skills and must be able to work through complex subject matter.

Key Job Elements:

  • Review Communications: Evaluate interactions between Admissions, Financial Aid, and Online Academic Counseling staff and students (both current and prospective). Assess these communications for compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and other relevant regulations, including legal agreements.
  • Vendor Compliance Monitoring: Review communications between third-party marketing vendors and students. Score these interactions based on predefined criteria outlined in the Vendor Compliance Guide to ensure adherence to regulations and agreements.
  • Types of Communications: Monitor phone calls, web chats, and text messages. This will involve manually listening to recordings, reviewing secret shopper recordings, and using a voice analytics platform to detect potential compliance issues.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Record findings in internal databases to maintain accurate documentation, supporting the remediation process when necessary.
  • Compliance Remediation Support: Assist in ensuring that any identified compliance violations are addressed according to company and client policies.
  • Workflow Assistance: Help manage daily assignments to maintain consistent workflow and meet quality and coverage goals.

Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • One year of compliance, call monitoring, quality assurance, and/or general call center work preferred.
  • Must have or acquire knowledge of DOE regulations and Title IV funding.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

WORK REQUIREMENTS (requirements for mental, physical components of the job)

The duties of this position are performed remotely. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit at a desk, and work on a computer for extended periods. Position requires finger dexterity, ability to bend, kneel, and reach; may be required to stand for extended periods on occasion.
Movements regularly required of fingers, hands, and wrists. May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion. Will work a standard workweek remotely/from home in the office and may involve additional work hours on weekdays or weekends as applicable.

Will work a typical work week but may include overtime work on weekdays or weekends as appropriate. Employees must abide by FERPA requirements which protect the privacy of student education records. As required, must be willing to travel to attend conferences and professional development assigned region, possibly out of the area and locally via automobile.
