Short Description
Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safetyconcerns/contraindication.
Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists.
Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies inEPIC / EMR and PACS system
Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred.
Siemens experience preferred.
Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patientswhen necessary.
Excellent organizational skills and communication skills needed to effectively orchestratedaily workflow of patients.
Experience Required
1+ years MRI experience;Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred, but not necessary
Education Requirements
Graduate of approved AMA RT Program
License/Certification Requirements
Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists);Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
