Part-Time Floater Pharmacist (3 Days/Week) - San Diego
Overview:
The Part-Time Floater Pharmacist (3 Days/Week) appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews.
This is a part-time position located in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We are looking for a Pharmacist who can work three days per week (8-hour daytime shifts) and sometimes more.

About the Role:
- Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws
- Maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services
- Assist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising Pharmacy Technicians/Clerks
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
- Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
- Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Perform in accordance with company policies and standards

About You:
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of CA
- 1+ year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
- Able to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Pay range: $62 to $67 per hour, based on credentials and geographic location
