Accounts receivable/payable specialist - Maple Shade

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to join our team based in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. The Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist will effectively manage customer accounts, process applications, and resolve inquiries. You will be part of a dynamic team within the transportation industry, working three days in the office and two days remotely, providing flexibility to manage your work effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit
• Handle account reconciliations and month-end close procedures
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective vendor management
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for various bookkeeping tasks
• Handle payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for any discrepancies.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated skills in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
• Experience with bookkeeping and data entry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in month end close processes
• Familiarity with payroll procedures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Experience in carrying out monthly bank reconciliation
• Skills in vendor management.
